This is an illustration of the "Rihei":'King of Chestnuts'. This is a chestnut that was created by hybridizing Japanese chestnuts and Chinese chestnuts in Gifu Prefecture (formerly Yamagata District). Its appearance has a lot of fine hairs at the tip, and the shiny brown color of the skin has depth.
